To highlight the problems and critical areas in
clinical decision making in five clinical-patho-
logical areas for an individualized diagnosis. |
|
Rapporteurs
(throughout the Course)
Rapporteurs
will participate in all the sessions and will collect
critical points, shadow areas, issues for reflection,
and proposals to be discussed in the final session (Saturday,
October 29).
They are experts on biochemical/bioimaging markers and
on clinical decision making:

INTEGRATED
BIOCHEMICAL AND BIOIMAGING MARKERS IN CARDIOCEREBROVASCULAR
DISEASES:
answers and proposals for further developments
To
define the pros and cons of the use of integrated biomarkers
in clinical decision making in:
Risk
Stratification in Asymptomatic Subjects
Acute Coronary Syndrome
Heart Failure
Transient Ischemic Attack and Stroke
Diabetes
Discussants:
Rapporteurs and Clinicians
Purpose
of this session:
This session will attempt to answer the questions presented
in the opening plenary session. The rapporteurs will
present a synthesis of the critical points, shadow areas,
issues for reflection, and proposals to be discussed
that emerged during the various Workshops. The rapporteurs
and the clinicians will discuss the pros and cons of
the use of integrated biomarkers in the clinical decision
making process.
